Natura Pet Products has announced the discovery of Salmonella in a sample of their dry dog and cat food, and have issued a voluntary recall of all dry dog/cat food varieties with an expiration date prior to June 10th, 2014, as well as all treats under the same timeframe. Natura Pet Products manufacturers several different brands of dog/cat food, not all of which CountryMax carries. The list-including varieties CountryMax does not carry- is below:
- Innova
- Evo
- California Natural
- Healthwise
- Mother Nature
- Karma
All customers are encouraged to contact Natura’s consumer hotline for returns by visiting http://www.naturapet.com/about/contact-us or calling 1-(800)-224-6123 to deal directly with Natura for a refund or product voucher.
If customers would like to return their affected food at a CountryMax location, we will promptly issue store credit for the full retail value of the bag(s) or treats. For anything other than CountryMax store credit on the products, customers will need to contact Natura at the contact information listed above.
