Protector bird feeder

Love that the larger woodpeckers can’t get to the seeds. A Downey has figured it out. We added a tray to the bottom so seeds don’t drop on the ground. I have found that a wide mouth canning jar funnel aids in filling the feeder without spilling seeds.

Nice feeder for mealworms

This is a nice feeder, but I was hoping the design would keep the starlings and cowbirds from devouring my mealworms in no time at all. Sadly, it doesn’t. I filled it in the morning and when I came home from work it was empty. If you want a nice feeder, it works but it doesn’t keep the bullies away.
